Parisian producer Else gives you yet another reason to stand still in the middle of your week, take a deep breath and push on forward. Beautifully poised and pleasant House.
Medasin does what he does best and flips Portugal, The Man’s latest single with a bouncy chilled out vibe.
Based on Max Cooper’s live visuals during his Emergence tour, I’ve come to expect nothing less than top-drawer videos from the UK producer. Animator Sabine Volkert supplies a music video inspired by the biological and molecular themes that Cooper seems to implant into all of his work.
In just 10 days (while being on tour) Louis Futon has dropped two fantastic remixes after asking his fans for challenge suggestions. The first flip is of Kendrick Lamar’s “Pride” which turns the banging track into a hypnotic head nodder. He got so excited by the response that he’s dropped another remix of Frank Ocean’s “Solo” for good measure, and brings out the brass band sound in full force.
Sydney based artist Wishes has just blown me away with this supremely catchy track. Underpinned by some solid production and addictive melodies, the song just refuses to leave my head. New Aussie on the block indeed.
I like to think that this video is the dystopian version of the ‘living’ images of Harry Potter. This phenomenally trippy music video from French/Venezuelan artist, La Chica (for another amazing video check out her visual for “Oasis”), is made up of old school magazine images that have been given a new life by director Ma-Ké.
Nothing better on a Friday to kick off a weekend then some old school Jamiroquai. Rayko provides a suberb extended re-edit of the classic groovy track. Move, it’s the weekend!
