Another superb self-directed video from The Blaze to accompany yet another powerful track. The music is hyped and yet wonderfully chilled, with visuals to match the emotions.
This beautifully shot music video for CRi’s “Rush” uses the town of Fremont, Quebec as a backdrop, illustrating its ghostlike industrial winterland. The video is almost documentary like in its introduction of Fremont but goes on to showcase the true beauty of the Quebec countryside as Cri’s sweeping futuristic bass music plays.
A little throwback in honour of the late, great DJ Mehdi. Smashing tune that really illustrates the power of French electro back in the early 2000s. Also an awesome video from super-music-video-director ROMAIN-GAVRAS.
Eugene Cam aka Akihabara flips Teedra Moses’ “Be Your Girl” and uses the sample to stunning effect. The flip evokes Kaytranada’s remix of the same song but with a much more spacey vibe.
Throwback to one of the most influential singles of last year and the best little OZZIE flip that surfaced in the Adele-shaped wake. Sounds like Adele met Massive Attack.
Canadian producer Vincent delivers a sumptuous track. Perfect way to ward of the demons of the coming week.
